Terms of Service

These Terms are a binding agreement between you and AutoPros (“AutoPros,” “we”). By creating an account, purchasing, or using the service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use AutoPros.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. Accounts are for the individual or business that registers them.

2. The service

AutoPros provides automotive repair and reference information (wiring diagrams, procedures, specifications, recalls) and, where available and authorized, resold vehicle history reports. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access purchased content for your own repair or evaluation use. You may not scrape, redistribute, resell, sublicense, or publicly post our content, or share account access beyond the seats your plan permits.

3. Plans, pricing & billing

Plans and prices are shown at checkout: Single Vehicle (one-time, lifetime access to one VIN), Monthly Pass, and Yearly Pass. Subscriptions automatically renew at the then-current price each period until canceled. By subscribing you authorize recurring charges. You may cancel anytime from your dashboard; cancellation stops future renewals and takes effect at the end of the current period. We provide renewal notices where required by law.

4. Refunds

If you are not satisfied, contact us within 14 days of purchase for a refund of access you have not substantially used. Once a vehicle history report has been generated and delivered, that report is non-refundable. Refund requests: support@transparencymotors.com.

5. Vehicle history reports

Reports are produced by third-party providers and supplied through our authorized source. We do not create, control, or guarantee their contents. Reports may be incomplete or contain errors, are not a “consumer report” for employment, credit, tenancy, or insurance decisions, and may not be used for any purpose governed by the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Each report is also subject to the provider’s own terms.

6. No professional advice; assumption of risk

Repair, wiring, and technical information is provided for general reference only and does not replace the judgment of a qualified technician. Vehicle repair can be dangerous. You are solely responsible for safely performing any work, for verifying information against official sources, and for compliance with applicable safety and environmental requirements. You assume all risk arising from your use of the information.

7. Trademarks & ownership

AutoPros is independent and not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any vehicle manufacturer. All manufacturer names, models, logos, and trademarks are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification only. CARFAX® and AUTOCHECK® are trademarks of their respective owners. All AutoPros content and software are owned by us or our licensors.

8. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service: no unauthorized access, scraping, reverse engineering, sharing logins, infringing others’ rights, unlawful VIN or report use, or interfering with the service.

9. Accounts & security

Login is by email code. You are responsible for your email account and for activity under your account.

10. Disclaimers

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that content is complete, current, or error-free.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AutoPros and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any property damage, personal injury, or loss arising from reliance on content or reports. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim or US $100.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify AutoPros against claims arising from your misuse of the service or violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may stop using the service at any time.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

15. Changes

We may update these Terms; continued use after changes means you accept them.
